What is Koko FitClub?

Koko is a digital gym -- a fitness studio driven by brilliant technologies, data, and exercise science. Koko’s cardio and strength machines know your body, and guide you more skillfully than a human personal trainer. At Koko, your progress is constantly tracked and accessible in the cloud, available from all your devices.

What’s up with the name “Koko”?

Our name was inspired by the Japanese word that means "individual” or “one-to-one.” Koko is all about one-on-one engagement and individual attention.

What kind of exercise do you do at Koko FitClub?

Our Smartraining methodology uses the most advanced personal training methodologies and exercise science to deliver a faster, more effective, precisely customized workout experience as part of a long-term, goal-based fitness program.

(1) Koko Strength Training: Total-body, progressive-circuit training performed on the patented Koko Smartrainer.
(2) Koko Cardio: Guided, interval, hiking, and climbing cardio protocols performed on treadmills and elliptical trainers with audio coaching.

Is Koko for men or women?

Both. Koko is for anyone looking for a more effective work out. Whether your fitness objective is to lose weight, build muscle and strength, improve athletic performance, or sculpt and tone your body, we create a plan that is uniquely yours, and our technologies help you reach your goals.

How challenging is a typical Koko workout?

Koko challenges you based on your current fitness level, adapting as you improve. During any workout, you can easily modify your intensity based on how you feel. Koko works with you, adapting to your instructions instantly.

How much time does a Koko workout take?

With Koko, it’s easy to get a total cardio and strength training workout completed in 45 minutes or less. Our digital tools manage the key elements of every workout: intensity, workload, and pace. You get the maximum results in the shortest time possible.

One consolidated, 30-minute Koko Smartraining strength workout delivers the same benefits as a typical 90-minute gym workout. And 15-minutes of Koko Cardio is twice as effective as a typical treadmill or elliptical workout.

What is the Koko Smartrainer?

The Koko Smartrainer is the first full-body strength training machine to harness the power of digital technology. It acts as a virtual personal trainer: guiding you through every step of your custom workout via an interactive touch screen. The screen shows you how to do each exercise properly, compressing all the benefits of a traditional 60-minute strength training session into just 30 minutes.

How much does Koko FitClub Cost?

Because Koko runs on technology, you get fully guided training without having to hire a personal trainer. Koko typically costs less than $100 per month (less than a single session with a good personal trainer).

Do you have a diet/nutrition plan?

Yes, Koko Fuel is our research-backed nutrition program offering personal meal plans based on your goals and your activity levels. Koko tells you the best way to eat in order to fuel your Koko Smartraining program for better results.

What is a Koko Key?

The Koko Key holds all of your workout data, allowing you to bring your workout with you to any Koko FitClub in the world. Just pop your Koko Key into any Koko strength or cardio machine and it comes to life, greeting you by name, and diving right into your workout for the day.

The concept is exactly what I was looking for - guided strength training, kind of like a personal trainer, except I don't have to talk to anyone!
