Mike Lannon co-founded Koko FitClub in 2004 with his wife, Mary Obana. A born entrepreneur and inventor, Mike has founded six companies over a career that spans more than 30 years. Mike holds multiple technology patents for the Koko Smartrainer, Koko Cardio, the Koko Smartraining System and other products. He has been featured in the New York Times, USA Today, Forbes, Fortune and many other media outlets, as well as three books focused on business innovation. Mike has been a featured speaker at The Sloan School of Business at MIT and Harvard Business School, and is the subject of a Harvard Business School case study on innovative growth strategies. Mike, Mary, their son, Kai, and dog Rudy live on Cape Cod, MA.

Mary is Koko’s chief evangelist, building strategic partnerships with leaders in the preventative health and wellness field to bring data-driven solutions to people who need them most. Her career in marketing strategy spans more than 25 years for brands like Converse, Keds, and American Express. Mary hails from Northern California where she earned her B.A. from Stanford University. She now lives with her family on Cape Cod, MA.

Michael Wood leads the development of integrated training and nutrition programs for Koko members nationwide. A nationally acclaimed fitness expert, Michael has conducted research as a Senior Exercise Physiologist at the Nutrition, Exercise Physiology and Sarcopenia Laboratory at the Research Center on Aging at Tufts University, and has lectured at Boston University and the University of Connecticut. He has been named Boston Magazine’s "Best of Boston" Personal Trainer, and made the Men's Journal "Dream Team" list of the nine best trainers in the U.S. Michael and his family live in North Attleboro, MA.

All day, every day, Nick Konarski is 100% focused on operational excellence to ensure a premium level of service for our members. Nick’s expertise is grounded in real-world leadership, driving the successful performance of Koko FitClub’s corporate club locations, and coaching franchise owners to do the same. Nick brings to Koko FitClub an impressive background in law enforcement, technology and fitness, running his own successful technology consulting company and proudly protecting the First Family as part of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Secret Service. Nick holds a B.A. in Psychology. A proud new dad, Nick and his family live in Pembroke, MA with their two dogs.

Since the launch of the first Koko FitClub location, Lauren Dell’Olio has been Koko’s brand champion and chief marketing coach, responsible for the development of integrated social media and marketing systems that introduce Koko to local communities across the U.S. and Canada. Lauren brings over 20 years of marketing and communication expertise, working with super-brands like Microsoft, Starbucks, Yahoo, PepsiCo, Red Hat, Abercrombie & Fitch and AT&T Worldwide. Lauren holds a B.A. in Mass Communication and Journalism. Lauren and her family live on the South Shore of Massachusetts.

Josh Roman has been driving product innovation and advancing the digital gym concept since the company’s inception in 2004. Josh oversees all software development, user interface design, and hardware engineering for the Koko Smartraining exercise systems, equipment and technologies. He also enjoys the unofficial title of Lead Culture Hacker. Josh holds an A.B. in Politics from Princeton University. Originally from St. Louis, Josh and his family live in the coastal town of Scituate, MA.

Drew Massey is a FreeMotion Master Coach and the Director of Training for student athletes at GameTime Sports & Training. Drew holds multiple certifications through the NSCA, NASM, FMS and USA Weightlifting, holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Bethel College and a master of science in performance enhancement and injury prevention.
