I joined Koko FitClub just after signing up for Weight Watchers. My goal was to lose 10 lbs. I was completely dedicated to working out 3 times a week and eating healthy. The best part, I am still able to enjoy my red wine! Within 2 months, I hit my goal weight. Fast forward 8 months and I’m still losing weight while gaining strength and getting toned. I am down 27lbs and have my figure from 25 years ago, BACK!!! So, let’s talk dress size, I was a size 10, now I am a size 2. Honestly, I did now it was possible but here I am! My husband, Michael has been on this journey with me and he is down 24lbs. Yep, that’s High School weight for him! We love Koko FitClub and feel like we have found the perfect workout for us to maintain a healthy lifestyle while feeling Fabulous! *

One word for me describes the Koko experience -- transformative. At the age of 46 and after not working out or doing cardio for 16 years, I joined the 30-day tryout this past summer to try something new. I had no energy, I was overweight, and to be honest I saw a pretty bleak future physically for the path I was on. After a couple of weeks I was hooked -- everything was taken care of with that thumb drive. The whole program was/is arranged for me, taking into account my strengths/weaknesses and ensuring that I continue to progress. The only thing I have to do is show up, plug in the thumb drive, and do what it tells me to. I'm now in the "Koko Fit Zone" and wearing the same size pants as my college days. My wife keeps telling me I need to take this new body out for a drive. My last "drive" was shoveling snow for two hours, then going to Koko for cardio and strength training. It really is true that lean muscle and fitness is the fountain of youth. My girls are appreciating a MUCH more active dad and I'm sure my wife appreciated the shoveling:). If every gym in the country had this system, I think we'd have a lot more happy people who have transformed their lives as well. *

There is absolutely no way I would achieve what I do at this club ANYWHERE else. Due to work schedules, I'm typically here during unstaffed hours . Over the past few months I've been a member, I've lost over 15 lbs, my blood pressure is lower, and I am looking and feeling better than I have in 10 years! The exercises are challenging and workouts are never stale. Best of all, I am working out safely with perfect form. Thank you so much for bringing such intelligent training to our area! My Koko story begins when I told my husband that I was finally ready to look for a personal trainer, after reaching a point of really getting sick of seeing my body in pictures! My son's wedding was in about 5 months, so time was of the essence. I am one of those people who join gyms, go faithfully for about a month, and then rarely go again. I never know if I am doing the machines correctly, etc. I noticed a Koko ad on Facebook…clicked on the ad & signed up for a demo workout. I have been hooked ever since! I was very happy with the dress I was able to wear to my son's wedding and 4 of my sister's friends have joined Koko after seeing my transformation in the wedding pictures. I also encouraged my family members and other friends to join and they love it as much as I do. More important than my dress size though is the fact that my cholesterol went down 51 points in 5 months. I honestly don't know where I'd be if I did not have Koko Fit Club in my life. I love looking at my page on the website and seeing the total weight I've lifted and how many miles I've of cardio I have completed. It always amazes me - the non-exerciser - to see what I've accomplished! I turn 50 in a few months, in the best shape of my life! Thank you, thank you, Koko! Don't ever leave me! *

I'd tried the typical gym scene, personal trainers, etc., and HATED it. Koko is a perfect fit for me, a 64-year-old who is diabetic and obese. I've lost many inches--I don't take measurements but I know how my clothes fit--and am enjoying a healthier lifestyle along with much more energy. The staff has been AWESOME! I intend for Koko to be a part of my life as long as it and I exist. Thanks Koko. You've done what no one else could do for me. *

I joined Koko almost 3 years ago because I liked the concept of the training on an individual basis. I have always been active: skied and golfed for years, then taught aerobic dancing for several years. As I aged, I noticed that muscle tone and balance were not what they used to be. I joined the YMCA after I retired, hoping to find what I needed to stay in shape. I was disappointed with what they offered. Koko meets all my needs: the option to work out on my schedule, the ability to work at my own pace and intensity because of the individualized program, and enough competitive spirit to keep me motivated. If I can do it at my age (73), then I encourage anyone of any age to do it. My husband and I love to travel and always carry our own bags. I now have the stamina and strength to run through airports, schlepping a bag in tow! I also have energy to climb steps end explore the European historical sites we visit. My balance, blood pressure and weight have all improved with Koko. I LOVE it! *

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone at Koko for establishing this awesome gym and helping me achieve a dream of mine to summit Mt. Whitney in California's Sierra Nevada Mountains. At 14,505ft (4421m), Whitney is the highest mountain in the 48 contiguous states and one of the highest in North America. I was able to summit and return in one day. A total of 22 miles roundtrip with an elevation gain of 6200ft. Being at such a high altitude, this hike is considered to be one of the most difficult in the United States. I trained for 3 months and lost over 17lbs. I also lowered my resting heart rate from 72 to 62 bpm's. Amazing! By the way, I used the Mt. Whitney workout [treadmill] program at my local Koko FitClub. Thank you again.... you have changed my life! *

Koko is transforming my life! I was pretty athletic as a kid and teen, but once in college, I did not really workout at all. Well, after I had my son at age 32, and in the years that followed (and I really noticed at around age 36) I was getting worse… I was officially overweight. I had severely more fat than muscle and it was starting to show. And I was tired all the time. So, finally [at age 39], I was at my wits end and saw they were opening a Koko within walking distance from my home. I went to the site, watched the video online and I was sold. I never liked gyms! Always would have loved to have a personal trainer to show me what to do and give me goals! For a single, professional Mother with little time to do anything for myself, this sounded perfect. A 30 minute workouts? A machine that shows you what to do? Earn points!? Come on! I for sure can do that! This was THE place for me! So, I went in the following Monday and the coaches were SO friendly, so non-judgmental and just two of the nicest people I had met. I signed up right then. I had to create the habit and I was hooked. Addicted. A KokoNut!! I lost 11 pounds quickly and became 58% stronger! I was feeling better than I had felt in years, and started noticing my posture was better, and I literally felt stronger, more confident and healthier than I had been since I was 18 years old. I noticed in my bathroom mirror one day that I looked like I workout! Without Koko, and the benefits of exercise that it has had on my mind, emotions and body, I am not sure where I would be today after the last month that I have had. Koko has literally saved my life emotionally and I'm sure physically in ways that I have not even seen yet. It helped me to remain strong enough to deal with everything and to keep my spirits up. I've been a Koko Nut for about three months now, and words can't really explain how much I love it. I have never been able to stay motivated to work out on a consistent basis, but now I have become that annoying person who says, "I love to work out," and actually means it! I've always used an elliptical machine at my house, but I had no idea what an amazing workout you can get on an elliptical until Michael Wood got a hold of me! My legs and glutes are constantly sore - in a GOOD way! [My] body composition is most definitely changing, and that has resulted in the loss of almost 2 full clothing sizes. I'm seeing more muscle definition and feeling more energetic. The Smartrainer workouts are tough, but extremely satisfying when you make it through. Love the owner and staff! It's definitely an encouraging, positive, atmosphere free from the posturing and intimidation you find at typical gyms. If you haven't joined yet, DO IT. *

I am a true KOKO-Nut!! I joined in September 2011, and I LOVE it! I had gained about 25lbs within a year (thanks Grad School) and when I had to buy my first size 10 pants, I knew I needed to do something, Just a few months later, I am now back to my goal weight (125lbs) and went from squeezing into a size 8 to a size 2! Now that I've hit my goal weight and am not seeing the results on the scale anymore, the strength tests and seeing my strength gains are keeping me motivated! Last summer I told my husband I had accepted the fact that I would never wear a bikini again (I was 27). Last week he reminded me of a pool party we're attending and said we should start looking for a suit now; for the first time in years I didn't cringe, I'm actually looking forward to the party to show off all my hard work...and my hard abs. Thank you KOKO for giving me my body and CONFIDENCE back! *

Fitness has always played a roll in my life. I joined my first gym at 17 and have never looked back - until I had kids. Between pregnancies I would try to lose the baby weight. We had a full gym in the basement, I tried shredding and pilates. I stayed active during my pregnancies, but still was frustrated at how my body looked a year after each child was born. I picked up running, but no matter how often or how far I ran, it never did the trick. Then I joined Koko FitClub. At first I was just in love with the schedule. Forty-five minutes 3 times a week? No problem! I could easy fit that into my busy schedule as a working mom of 2. I could squeeze workouts in before the kids got up in the morning, or between soccer games on the weekend. It was easy. Within 2 months I started to see a real change in my body. Old muscles were returning, and there were some that I had never seen in 15 years of working out on my own!! Triceps for crying out loud! I realized that it was the comprehensiveness of the program that was having the biggest impact. I wasn't just working on my favorite muscles (we all tend to focus on a few - for me it was bicep, calves, abs) - I was forced to work on ALL of them. What a concept! I've now been a member for a year and have been pretty consistent in my commitment. I still love going. I love the challenge and I look forward to my next strength test. I've tried them all - Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, Abs Diet, YMCA, Work Out World! Koko is the Best! Working full-time, and having 2 boys I am definitely busy!
